Petroleum Plaza Exhibit

The public corridor joining Petroleum Plaza’s two towers at 9945 108 Street* provides a perfect viewing gallery where club members can apply to show their images in an exhibit that refreshes every three months.

This is a win-win situation – club members have a lovely space to show images, promote the club and make a few sales, and people at the Plaza get to enjoy wonderful images. The Plaza provides the wall-mounted frames and mats, club members only need to provide the printed images.

How it works
  1. Club members may enter an expression of interest (see link below) by submitting up to TWO images (4 MB max) for each theme exhibit (up to eight per year) by the deadline noted below by clicking on the link below. Avoid images of identifiable people.
  2. Frames and mats are provided and fixed in orientation so your image must fit the viewable area of one of the following predetermined categories (in inches).
    1. Skinny Vertical (12w x 18h) The mat on this is cut a little wider than usual so there is only 11w x 17h viewable. 5 spots available
    2. Regular Vertical (16w x 20h) 3 spots available
    3. Regular Horizontal (20w x 16h) 7 spots available
  3. Include
    1. Your name, phone number and email address
    2. A short title (be sure to check for typos and capitalization). Avoid putting your name in the jpeg entry, but it is helpful to include the title.
    3. The price.
  4. Buyers will be put in touch with the photographer for purchases and arrangements for other sizes. Prints are sold without mat or frame.
  5. Petroleum Plaza will make the final selection of images and members will be notified by email if their image is selected.
  6. Wait to print your entry until you are notified that your submission has been selected. Please submit your print flat (not rolled up) to minimize kinks and facilitate handling multiple prints at our end.
  7. If your print has been selected you will be given details about the drop off location. If this is a problem please contact Lorian. Please note the deadlines for both submissions and prints.
  8. Put your name on the back of your print.
  9. Lorian will contact you with information on retrieving your prints from previous exhibits.

*Building hours are Monday to Friday 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (closed on weekends and stat holidays)
