’Scapes (Special Interest Group)
Contact: David Oman
In this special interest group, hosted by David Oman, members come together to share and build their ‘Scape photography skills. The focus includes all sorts of ‘Scapes' (e.g., landscapes, cityscapes, seascapes).
The meeting is open to photographers of all skill levels. The meetings run the third Tuesday of the month, September through May.
What is 'Scape Photography?
The scope of the images can range from sweeping vistas, drone imagery, to tight crops highlighting specific elements. ‘Scape images can include wildlife or people but these elements should not be the primary focus – the ‘Scape itself should be the main element of the image.
Meeting are conducted digitally via Zoom. To participate you will need a computer with a microphone and camera, or a smart tablet. You must pre-register for this SIG to receive a link to the Zoom meetings.
