Street (Special Interest Group)
Contact: Allan Reich
Street photography is a diverse and varied type of photography that portrays the emotions, action and nuances of the street as they're happening in the photographer's camera. Street images don't always need people. The presence or absence of people can be inferred. Think about the neon lights of bars on an empty street during a pandemic." In this special interest group, hosted by Allan Reich, members come together to share their interest in street photography. The meeting is open to members of all skill levels. It runs the third Monday of the month, September through May.
Why Street Photography? Street has many venues - from the beach to a rural setting - it's spontaneous, it's luck and it's creativity in the moment. See the examples.
