Wildlife (Special Interest Group)

In this special interest group co-hosted by Doug Knight, Anne Pellatt and Clayton Reitzel, members come together to share, to learn, and to energize one another with respect to wildlife photography. 

The meeting is open to members of all skill levels.  It usually runs the second Wednesday of the month, September through May. Check meeting dates to confirm.

​Meeting Format
Meeting are conducted digitally via Zoom. To participate you will need a computer with a microphone and camera, or a smart tablet. You must pre-register to receive the link to the Zoom meetings.
What to expect
  •  share our photos with one another and discuss various aspects of the photos (composition, camera settings, locations for finding wildlife, intentionality, edits, etc.) so we might learn from one another
  • discuss a variety of topics such as styles of wildlife photography, composition, creativity, gear recommendations, camera settings, editing techniques, places to visit for wildlife outings, wildlife ethics, online resources and any subject of interest to our members
  • group outings
  • presentations on wildlife photography
meeting times
We usually meet the second Wednesday of the month at 7:00 p.m., for approximately 75-90 minutes.
