SnapshotMy photography is eclectic and has been a wonderful hobby that has taught me to be much more observant of the world around me. I enjoy travel photos that have led to books and videos as well as many desktop backgrounds; portraits, event and other photography for community organizations; macro photos (there is another whole world in there); and volunteer digital retouching for Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep (providing the gift of remembrance portraits to parents experiencing the death of a baby).
With the help of the IACC club I have learned to use Lightroom and Photoshop but also love to play with other apps that alter photos such as iColorama. I enjoy administering the quarterly Petroleum Plaza Exhibit where club members show their prints. There is unlimited potential for enjoyment and new learning with this hobby – and I have met so many lovely people! |
