Sat Apr 27, 2024 - Outing to Snow Goose Festival (7 AM - Noon)
The Snow Goose Festival is annually held on the south shore of Beaverhill Lake and is an opportunity to photograph thousands of migrating Snow geese, Canada geese, various shorebirds, cranes and swans. There is limited parking at the festival site so consider taking a free shuttle from the Bethel Transit Terminal in Sherwood Park at 7 AM SHARP. Once in Tofield, we will take a 3-hour guided bus tour that stops at wildlife and migratory bird points of interest. Dress for outdoor weather with muddy conditions. Register for this IACC outing and receive more details.
