Date TBD - Workshop: Digital Noise Reduction
Is digital noise showing up in your high ISO images? Are you annoyed by random bright colourful bits and sandpaper textures? We will look at some of the most amazing digital noise reduction apps on the market today. AI and other techniques have completely changed the quality of the processed images. Are you thinking “show me”?
When: 10:00 a.m. - noon
Where: online, using Zoom (details to follow)
Registration: click here
Limit: 50
Cost: no charge
Experience: some experience in using photo editing software recommended, but not necessary.
A panel of experienced club members will demonstrate the basic features and workflow of the software programs listed below. We will discuss the pros and cons of each product. We will answer your questions as time permits.
Attendees can submit one noisy Raw file each. Depending on the number of images submitted, we will attempt to process each image in each of the apps and returned as full resolution JPEG or DNG files to show you the results. Presenters may also show some of their own images before and after noise reduction.
Workshop attendees can submit one noisy raw file no later than Nov 30. Please rename your images as per this example: creitzel-oriole.NEF so we can identify whom the image came from.
To submit your image (optional): click here
For more info or if you have issues uploading images, email Clayton Reitzel (Workshops Chair)
