Street photography is a diverse and varied type of photography that portrays the emotions, action and nuances of the street as they're happening in the photographer's camera. Street images don't always need people. The presence or absence of people can be inferred. Think about the neon lights of bars on an empty street during a pandemic.
We will discuss our own Street images and colour and black and white. At times, we'll edit our images to enhance the mood and feeling of the image. We talk about the Masters in Street photography, discuss their images and why they're able to evoke the emotions and feelings of a social setting. Street has many venues - from the beach to a rural setting - it's spontaneous, it's luck and it's creativity in the moment.
