WORKSHOP: St. Albert Photo Club invites IACC members to join an immersive macro insect photography workshop where you'll gain firsthand field experience with Dara Ojo. This workshop offers a unique opportunity to refine your macro photography skills in a supportive, hands-on environment.

Mon Sep 23 - Members' Night - 7 PM - online only
Carmen Carvajal presents "Organizing Family Photos & Memories: Creating a Lasting Legacy"
Are your photos in a state of chaos and disorder? Are you struggling with how to manage all your memories? Carmen will highlight key considerations for preserving memories and the stories behind them, to build a family legacy that will endure. Her presentation aligns with Save Your Photos Month, a public service concept promoted by The Photo Managers organization.
Greg Thiessen presents "A Hike into the Unknown – Photography with an Explorer’s Mindset"
Greg's Member Showcase demonstrates that he's always been an explorer at heart. When a good trail beckons, he doesn't hesitate to lug his camera gear along to capture the thrill of the hike. He’s learned that it’s all about perspective and attitude and taking the time to find those photographic gems – whether they’re 10 km in from the trailhead or a few steps from the car.

Sat Sep 28 - Outing to Elk Island National Park - 9 to 4 PM
The Landscape SIG will lead an outing on Sat, Sep 28 to shoot the fall harvest and colours at Elk Island NP and elsewhere. All IACC members are invited to attend.
Location: 9:00 AM meet at the Flying J Travel Center in Sherwood Park (SE corner of Yellowhead Hwy and Anthony Henday Dr). Note: not at the park Visitor Centre as first advertised. People can head out on their own from Flying J or carpool. If you are new to photography and/or this area of AB, contact Program Chair, Steve Ricketts to pair you up with someone.
Cost: Park entrance fees apply.
Attached maps are 3 good locations to photograph fall colours (in addition to the park).
