In Memoriam: Russ Kidger

 Russell Kidger passed away on September 14th, 2025 at age 77.

"Righteous, compassionate, altruistic and empathetic, just a few words to describe Russ. Russ enjoyed being a member of Images Alberta Camera Club. He loved the comradery, the outings and special speakers that came and shared their expertise. The outings were always a highlight; the Train Museum and Aldon's Salvage were his favorites. 

"Russ loved landscape, portraiture and macro. We spent many an hour driving country roads photographing old homesteads.

"It was always a treat watching Russ at a portrait session interact with the model bring down the temp and make the model feel at ease. He would elicit the best expressions from people"
