Thu Oct 9 - Presentation Night: My Photography Adventures with Jo-Anne Oucharek, 7 PM - online + in person
Join award-winning wildlife photographer Jo-Anne Oucharek as she shares her photography adventures from the Rockies to Africa. Through stunning images and stories, Jo-Anne highlights the lessons she’s learned—understanding gear, researching subjects, post-processing, and connecting with nature-first photographers. Discover tips, tricks, and techniques to help you hone your own craft while experiencing the beauty of wildlife through her lens.
Sat Oct 11 - Outing to Aldon's Auto Salvage, 8 AM-Noon (in person)
Aldon Auto Salvage, 552057 Highway 831, Lamont, AB. The #1 favourite outing, as rated by our members, is coming soon. We're joining with the St. Albert Photo Club for this event. In case of inclement weather, there are three Quonsets full of automobiles, as well. These are well preserved while the ones outdoors are left to the elements for very unique photo ops.
Sat Oct 18 - Outing to 5 Freedoms Horse Rescue, 1-3PM
Immerse yourself in the world of horses where you’ll have the opportunity to witness their behaviours and photograph them in this unique environment. The beautiful Fall colours will most certainly enhance our images. 5 Freedoms Ranch currently has up to 90 horses although some will be in the other pastures during our visit.
