Celebrate Scott Kelby's World Photowalk Day by joining a mural tour in Old Strathcona lead by local professional photographers Darlene Hildebrandt and Dawn Sulyma Smuth. 4-6 PM. Note: this is not an IACC coordinated event.

Sat Oct 12 - Outing to Aldon Auto - 9 AM to Noon
Aldon Auto - 552057 Hwy 831 S, near Lamont AB
This popular outing is being hosted in partnership with the St. Albert Photo Club. There are lots of wrecked cars of various vintages spread across large fields. Wear good walking boots and appropriate weather gear.

Required: Please print and sign the waiver form below and bring it to the Aldon outing. Otherwise you are not allowed onto the property.

David will present a basic flash photography workshop for those that are new to using flash, or need a review of the fundamentals. The workshop will cover:
- Equipment - The basic lighting equipment referred to as: hot-shoe flash, external flash, strobe, or speedlight.
- Using Your Flash - The basic features of flash and how to use them.
- Modifiers - Equipment commonly used to modify the light to enhance your image.
- Event & Outside Flash - Using a flash at an outside event with often mixed ambient light.
- Studio Flash - Using a flash in a studio setting.
What to bring:
- A snack to eat during workshop. Coffee will be provided.
- Nothing else is required. You could bring a notebook, but workshop handouts will be provided.
- You may bring your camera and speedlite, but there will be no hands-on time allotted in this workshop. If you bring your camera and speedlight, also bring your manuals.
