In this NEW special interest group, new club members come together to build their photographic skills and to connect with others. The meeting is open to new members who wish to explore the club's many opportunities. It runs the first Monday of the month, October through May.
Why Newcomers? Every year our club has newcomers with a wide variety of photographic skill taking part in its many programs. It is easy to get overwhelmed, so the Newcomers SIG focuses on opportunities to get to know each other through outings, discussions of key club activities including preparation for competitions, who to contact when you have questions or when you have input that you would like share, how to get more involved with the board or how to contribute to the three pillars of the club: learning, having fun and community service among other things. Meeting Format Meeting are conducted digitally via Zoom. To participate you will need a computer with a microphone and camera, or a smart tablet. You must pre-register to receive the link to the Zoom meetings. What to expect
