"Intro to Video Editing, Part 2" with Curtis Jones
In this beginner-friendly workshop, photographer and visual storyteller Curtis Jones will guide participants through the basics of video editing using Adobe Premiere Pro, with skills you can apply to any platform—even phone apps or iMovie. It covers:
- Setting up a new project, importing and organizing footage.
- Understanding the editing timeline
- Basic cuts, transitions, and audio tips. (Where to find royalty free music and sound effects)
- Basic colour processing
- Simple titles and common export settings.
- Many opportunities to ask questions in real time.

"Adventures in Pet Photography" with Julie Cork
Julie Cork is the 2024-25 season winner of the Burwell Memorial Scholarship awarded by IACC. Her creative portfolio of pet photography will inspire anyone who has tried to capture their own non-compliant pet.

We are pleased to share an invitation to attend and photograph the Ben Calf Robe Traditional Pow Wow, an annual celebration of Indigenous culture, dance, and community at the Commonwealth Field house. This vibrant and meaningful event is open to the public and offers a wonderful opportunity to capture powerful moments of regalia, ceremony, and tradition.

The Alberta Camera Club Alliance is hosting an online event to celebrate Alberta photographers and photography. It will include a short presentation by Myrna Pearman (who made a great presentation on wildlife to our club in Oct) and then showcase the work of ACCA member clubs. This will be a series of short presentations (Pecha Kucha-type and slideshows), hopefully representing each ACCA member club.
