Thursday, May 14, 2020 - Pecha Kucha Night (online)
Hosted by Nora Hartfelder
In a nutshell, Pecha Kucha is a PowerPoint presentation of 20 slides of 20 seconds each for commentary. The slides automatically advance after 20 seconds, so each presentation lasts precisely 6 minutes and 40 seconds.
There is still room for a few more presentations. If there are sufficient interest, we will schedule a second evening. So don’t hesitate to participate – get involved and challenge yourself! The topic would be your choice with no themes. Possibilities could include a recent travel adventure; a wildlife or bird collection; a personal story; a street walk; macro presentation; a photography technique presentation; a portrait collection; landscape themes, and so on and on and on..
When: Thursday, May 14, 2020, 7:00-8:30 p.m.
Where: online, using Zoom (for help on how to use Zoom, click here)

Tuesday, May 19, 2020 - Getty Challenge "Recreating Art at Home" (online)
This is a Low Light SIG Meeting hosted by Nora Hartfelder, and is open to all IACC members. Many of you participated in the same challenge at the club on-line outing, but here is an opportunity to have a two-way forum to present and discuss your work in a Zoom style presentation.
The idea is to recreate a famous piece of art using household items. Imagine recreating a Van Gogh using water and oil, a Monet using buttons or a Mondrian using Lego blocks. Please include the original artwork, (create a diptych of the original image and your image) so that we can compare the images! In the Zoom meeting, we will share the images, talk about our inspirations, challenges and help each other overcome some low lighting challenges by offering tips and advice for all participants.
When: Tuesday, May 19, 2020, 7:00-9:00 p.m.
Where: online, using Zoom (for help on how to use Zoom, click here)
