Sat Jun 13 - Outing to Wagner Natural Area (9:30 AM - 11:30 AM)
Wagner Natural Area, 30531 118 Ave, Acheson, AB. Meet in the parking lot.
A little wetland of boreal forest including calcareous fens and marl ponds, home to amphibians, butterflies, birds, insects and even orchids. A guide will take our group through the area allowing time for photography and we'll have an opportunity to wander on our own afterwards.
Your IACC Outings leader will be Tanya Ironside for this event. Please check in on arrival and let Tanya know when you're leaving the site.
Bring a macro or other close-up lens. Tripod/monopod optional. The ground may be uneven, wet, or rocky. Please wear appropriate footwear.
Cost: $10 non-refundable fee that will be donated to the Wagner Natural Area.
Registrations required by Jun 6. Maximum 20 participants.
