Mon Jun 16 - Webinar: NSPS presents "Moving Landscapes" with Andrea Sirois 6:30 PM (online only)
North Shore Photographic Society presents guest speaker Andrea Sirois, “Moving Landscapes." Andrea will be discussing both ICM (Intentional Camera Movement) and Long Exposure techniques. In the Long Exposure segment she will cover shooting land/waterscapes with ND and Graduated ND filters, how to make physiograms, and combining RGB filters with multiple exposures.
Sun Jun 1 - Outing to Chipman Auto Show and Shine 11-5 PM (in person only)
IACC outing to the Chipman Auto Show and Shine. This old car show is a great place to go and photograph rebuilt and restored cars in an outdoor setting. Most of the images in this online gallery were taken at the show two years ago. This year the show features vehicles from 2000 and earlier.
If you want a break from shiny cars, Chipman also has both Orthodox and Catholic Churches and Cemeteries, and some other older buildings.

Sat Jun 7, 5-9 AM: Workshop on Capturing the Hidden World of Arthropods w Dara Ojo (in person only)
Overview: St. Albert Photo Club presents a hands-on macro photography workshop with Dara Ojo. It will guide participants in capturing stunning close-up images of arthropods in their natural habitat. The session will cover essential techniques such as lighting, composition, and camera settings, with a focus on creating striking, detailed images. Participants will also learn about the ecological importance of the subjects we photograph, fostering a deeper appreciation for the beauty of the unseen world around us.
