Friday, Jan 24: Ice on Whyte
One of Edmonton’s fantastic winter festivals. The real fun starts when temperatures drop below zero.
When: Friday, Jan 24, 2020. 7:00 p.m.
Where: Dr. Wilbert McIntyre Park (8331 104 Street NW). We will meet by the main entrance
Cost: you will need to buy your ticket when you meet (~$7). Please do not buy your tickets online since the Club is negotiating perks; it is necessary to know the number of participants to finalize these negotiations.
How to register: closed
Deadline: Wednesday, Jan 22nd at midnight.
Space: no limit
Prerequisite: membership in IACC
What to bring: nothing required

Outing details
Ice On Whyte hosts an International Ice Carving Competition, which is one of only three ice carving competitions in Canada. Be inspired and amazed as teams of professional artists work to create jaw-dropping icy splendors. This year the competition will be held in a tent to control the temperature and protect the sculptures from the outside environment. Be amazed by blocks of ice that have been transformed into masterpieces of art.
