The Introduction to Lightroom and Photoshop SIG is for IACC members who are new users of Lightroom and/or Photoshop. More advanced users are welcome but our content will be focused on the important basic skills for Adobe products.
We will discuss training, best practices, tips and techniques, new releases, and other related topics that the group chooses. We will have guest speakers and additional specialized sessions if the group wishes to focus on a specific topic. Last season we held a one-day Photoshop workshop that was attended by 8 SIG members at a cost of $60 per person for the instructor who teaches Photoshop at the Burwell School of Photography. In previous seasons, we had presentations by IACC members of ON1 Photo RAW and Topaz products that can be used with Lightroom. All regular meetings will be held in the boardroom at Tetra Tech, 14940 123 Ave., from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Any additional activities will be scheduled on weekends, most likely in the classroom at Colours on Calgary Trail. Approximately one week before each regular meeting, the SIG leader will send an email to all SIG members with an agenda for the upcoming meeting. The program for each meeting (except not for the first meeting which is our welcome, member introductions, and planning session) will be chosen by SIG members at the previous meetings. There is no cost to SIG members to attend the regular meetings. Meetings: September 2020 to June 2021
(all meetings will be held from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.)
