Haunted Pumpkin Festival was Spooktacular

As a new comer to IACC, I had no idea what to expect for my first outing.
As people started arriving and visiting before entering the Prairie Gardens and Adventure Farm, it was clear from the get go this was going to be a nice morning, a little chilly but certainly enjoyable. I was greeted by many and immediately felt welcomed.
As we ventured around the grounds there was no shortage of visual eye candy for a photographer. A lot of sections, areas and activities all around for a variety of photo ops. Fall and Halloween was in the air.
It was nice to have early access to walk around before the kids started to arrive, but it was also great to see how many people came out to visit the Farm.
After spending the morning photographing a few scary things, country scenes and a ton of pumpkins, the conversation continued around the campfire complete with the roasting of marshmallows. There was even the sharing of secret recipes such as dipping marshmallows in a little Baileys. I feel confident there are a few members tempted to try it for themselves.
I felt the Prairie Gardens staff were great hosts and this was a nice choice for an outing. I look forward to future activities with IACC.
