Monday, Feb 6, 2023 - Members' Night (7 PM)
Alberta Camera Club Alliance sponsors Lizzy's presentation as she shares about how her photography began 15 years ago, and the journey of how it developed to this day. Learn about the technical aspect of capturing these images, hear some fun stories from behind the scenes from her favourite images, and be inspired by what she has learned when it comes to creating from the soul. Gadd is an artist/photographer originally hailing from Vancouver, Canada, but now currently living wherever her suitcase happens to be (at this moment, in the Rockies of Alberta). She feels most at home in the mountains, forests, fields and ocean...all of which are heavily incorporated into her photography. She combines self portraiture with real landscapes, often spending days at a time in the wilderness, creating ethereal images that evoke peaceful solitude and portray the beauty of matching one's heartbeat with the beat of nature. |
