Competitions are held on the 3rd Monday of the month throughout the club year. To enter a competition, you must be a member by midnight of the Thursday before the competition deadline.
Note: The club meetings are being held in hybrid format for 2026-27 season which means both digital and print entries are accepted for competition nights. However, only members attending the meeting in person can vote for the print entries. The digital Competitive Categories will be judged by certified external judges. The Exhibition Categories are for viewing only. "When you enter a photograph into a competition you are contributing to the well-being of the Club: you provide the other members with pleasure, with a new idea, and with a forum for discussion, thus contributing to their growth as photographers. Our Use of Images Policy
"Members submitting images to one or more IACC Displays should be aware that submissions may be displayed on the IACC website and social media sites, where they can be seen by the public, as will all winning entries (along with the name of the photographer). These will be displayed at low resolution and with the download option disabled however, IACC cannot prevent people from screen-capturing

Monthly competitions themes (2026-27)
100 Judged Theme: An entry in this category comprises a single digital image file. It should reflect the published monthly theme (see below). This category will be judged by CAPA judges. Entries that do not conform to the theme will receive lower scores. 200 Judged Open: An entry in this category comprises a single digital image file. This category will be judged by CAPA judges.
300 Print: An entry in this category comprises a single print. Members’ choice awards will be given based on member voting at the competition meeting
600 Members’ Choice Theme: An entry in this category comprises a single digital image. Members’ choice awards will be given based on member voting at the competition meeting.
700 Members’ Choice Open: An entry in this category comprises a single digital image. Members’ choice awards will be given based on member voting at the competition meeting.
