Activities: Aug 2026
Sun Aug 16, Outing to Aldon Auto Salvage, 9 AM
Aldon's is shutting down in the Fall. Help us give this special place the proper photographic send-off it deserves with one last dedicated club outing. Whether you are looking to capture striking abstracts, macro details of peeling paint and rust, or wide environmental landscapes of automotive history frozen in time, this final visit promises to be a poignant and rewarding shoot.
Time: 9:00 AM at the gate. PLEASE CHECK IN WITH STEPHANIE ON ARRIVAL. She will be wearing white ball cap. If arriving later, please contact her to check in or text 780-974-2620 with your name. Note: St. Albert Photography Club (SAPC) will join us on this outing and encourage all of us to get to know our fellow photographers.
Location: 55207 Highway 831, Lamont, AB
Recommended Gear: Lenses for both macro work and wide-angle vistas, drones, and a tripod if you prefer working static compositions.
***Please note: You are attending this outing at your own risk as there is uneven ground and other hazards with rusty vehicles and objects that can cause injury. You MUST complete the Jotform with a signature in order to attend and meet our insurance criteria. Only members may attend. Please ensure you have comfortable sturdy footwear.
