Sun Apr 12 - Outing: Orchid Fair 9 AM (in person only)
The Orchid Society of Alberta is hosting this fair where Orchid enthusiasts and photographers will find hundreds of orchids of every shape, size, and colour, from the rare to the truly unusual.
9-10 AM Photographers only. Meet at Entrance 1 Doors at 8:45 AM. Moonflower Room, Enjoy Center, 101 Riel Drive, St. Albert. Check in with Steph on arrival. To use this entrance, you should park in the lot closest to the north/west side of the building, which is generally labeled for event guests. We can continue to make images when the public is present.
If you arrive after 10 AM, use the main retail entrance (Entrance 3) used for the Salisbury Greenhouse. Open to the public 10-4 PM. Please check in with Steph on arrival.
Cost: $10 at the door

Guest speaker Gerry Yaum presents SOCIAL DOCUMENTARY PHOTOGRAPHY, A FORCE FOR GOOD. Gerry is a self taught social documentary and wet plate photographer based in Edmonton. He tells the stories of his subjects with compassion, empathy and understanding.
