Thu Apr 20 - Workshop: Sky Replacement in Photoshop CC (7 PM)
IACC member Ron Ross demonstrates how replacing skies using Photoshop CC is easy. Doing it really well is a bit more work, but the results are worth it. This 90 minute workshop/demonstration will start with the basics, then work through advanced techniques. It will also consider how to make informed design and artistic choices.
This free online workshop for members is suitable for photographers with any level of experience replacing skies in post-processing, even those who have never done so. If you wish to follow along at home, you will need Photoshop CC, and at least one image (preferably a raw or tiff file) where you want to replace the sky. It would also be useful to have at least one image with a sky you want to use to replace other skies.
Note: This workshop/demonstration is only about replacing skies in Photoshop CC (free 7 day trial). There are several other programs that can be used to replace skies. These have advantages and disadvantages, but they will not be considered here.
