On January 11, 2018, IACC members enjoyed a unique members showcase presentation titled "Complexity or Clutter in the Image" by Club Honorary Member Alvin Baragar.
Alvin explained through his series of photographs, what he meant by complexity in a photograph. For example, his photographs showed a variety of shapes and leading lines that did not contribute to the overall image. Alvin explained how by reducing the clutter in a photograph, you can improve the overall image. He directed the members to focus on area's of the photograph to improve the images. Thanks Alvin for a great presentation. You provided the members with an insight to help refocus and rethink their photographs to make them less complex. "It was an honour to listen to Alvin's Member Showcase. It is so nice to have one of our long-standing members share his work that focuses on the impact of 'simpler' images." IACC Member
