ACCA is an informal group of Alberta camera and photography clubs. It's similar to groups set up in BC & Yukon and Ontario. We currently have 10 clubs representing ~760 members.

12. Turner Valley Oilfields Camera Club

We collaborate on several items, such as:

1. sponsoring 2-3 major speakers, who command a higher fee than what most clubs could cover by themselves
2. ​sharing best practices on how to run a club
3. sharing info on speakers and judges
4. allowing members to attend other club's presentations (if the club is willing)
5. hosting an in-person get-together (this is contingent on someone's willingness to organize them)

In 2024-25 season, we are sponsoring two major speakers:

We recently reached an agreement with the Ontario Council of Camera Clubs (O3C) to present its one-day judging training course on Dec 7, 2024 for ACCA member clubs. 

Fees for being part of ACCA are $1.50/club member.

Sat Dec 7 - O3C New Judge Course - 8 to 4 PM (MST) (online)

The Ontario Council of Camera Clubs (O3C) will put on its one-day judges course for Alberta Camera Club Alliance member clubs. The online course will cover the fundamentals of Photo Judging, the O3C Scoring Model, constructive commenting, differences in various genres and categories, photo essays and much more. 

Cost: $135 per person
